We recently went down to San Diego to paint at the Invisible Children X Warby Parker event at the new IC offices. It’s always a good time hanging with that crew. Such good people. Please support both Invisible Children and Warby Parker as they are doing real positive things. While down there we also ran into our bros at Aloha Sunday and will be showing new work at their store in San Diego on May 4th. More info on that to come. View more photos from the event here.

Last night we got together with a friend and made a time lapse video of a couple drawing that will be used during the Invisible Children “cover the night” campaign happening April 20th around the world. The videos will be projected onto buildings in New York. We support IC 100% and try to help out anyway we can. Feel free do to a little research and support how ever you can.

KONY 2012: Part II — Beyond Famous offers a closer look at the LRA and explores the solutions put forward by leaders of the currently-affected areas of CAR, DRC, and South Sudan, where local communities continue to live under the constant threat of LRA violence. This generation has responded to the call to make Joseph Kony famous. Now we need to dig deeper and turn awareness into informed action. That starts with sharing this film and continues with participating in Cover the Night, the advocacy and awareness event taking place worldwide on April 20th.

A film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

August was good. Busy. Our very own dethkills t-shirt cut went into production. We did some charity stuff. Finished 90% of the paintings and prints for our solo show, that opens September 15th. Got to hang with some bros we don’t get too see to often. Also had a couple birthdays, a lake trip and made some sunglasses.

We will be hand manipulating these screen prints this Saturday to help out our buddies over at Invisible Children. Check out the flyer for all the info and be sure to stop by to pick up one of these super limited prints.

Stay home from the bar for 1 night or cook dinner instead of going out and support this cause.

Well we are done with the tradeshow and it probably couldn’t have gone any better. Made some money at the tables, meet some great people, hung out with old friends and as always excited and inspired people with the paintings which is our favorite part of doing the live stuff. Watching people genuinely appreciate what we are doing is one of the best things. Thank you Invisible Children for letting us be a part of such a wonderful experience. Time to finish them up in the studio and get them sold, proceeds to benefit IC.

Day 2 had some residual effects from OFF! at the Thrasher party and a 5am mission on the black jack tables but we managed to get some painting done. Here comes night two…I can already feel the heartburn.
