Lux Xzymhr (pronounced shimmer) grew up in Hawaii and spent her formative years eating flowers and scribbling on anything she could get her hands on. From a young age, Lux observed all of nature’s faces and recorded her findings in sketchbooks. At the age of 17 Lux moved to California. Her work is inspired by dreams, deep sea creatures, nebulas, and boobs. Her favorite artists are Louis Wain and Henry Darger. Lux now works out of a studio in Los Angeles.
