Got chance to get down to San Diego last weekend to check out the Kelsey Brookes show at Quint Contemprary in La Jolla. I was blowin away. Kelsey knows exactly what is going on and after seeing the show he became one of my favorite artist. I have followed his work for sometime time now and he gets better and better. We packed into the Insight van at 11a.m. on Friday with Jake. With 200 road sodas in the back we were on our way to Coalition up in San Louis Obisbo but first we had to meet up with Justin, Mumma, and Cody so we could caravan up there. Being part of Insights Garage Art program they asked us to roll up with them so we could paint at an art auction they were sponsoring to help raise money for a local skatepark. The event was a success and lots of art was sold. After the the auction Insight lined up an after party at a local club. We had bottle service and it made the ride home the next day a bit tougher. We left in the morning and were back home by 3p.m. A 28 hour mission that in the end was a success and a little blurry with new friends made along the way. Thanks to Insight for letting us be a part of it, can’t wait for the next one.
